What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Assistant position at Princeton University and Careers?
- Provide general administrative support for faculty, research groups, and visitors
- Prepare and process expense reimbursements and Concur reports for faculty research groups.
- Plan and schedule special events and meetings
- Provide on-site support for MAE events and programs, including setup and logistics
- Coordinate and complete day-to-day operational processes, including data entry, tracking, and filing.
- Ordering of supplies, office maintenance requests, and facilities coordination
- Maintain webpage content and update group
- Use University systems and reports to provide accurate and up-to-date
- Support budget and purchasing processes as needed
- Assist with student participants, communications, and coordination of student
- Provide backup assistance to other support staff in the

Experience in a relevant academic or business position.
Education: High School or equivalent
Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and to exercise discretion when handling confidential information.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, written and oral, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the University.
Intermediate level proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strength in proofreading and editing documents, reports, and websites.
Preferred Qualifications
Three-plus years of related experience with proven administrative abilities.
Knowledge of Princeton University policies, procedures and systems, Information Warehouse, Canvas, Concur, grants.gov, COEUS.
