We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join and grow in the PPG organization. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of CNC machines, EDM machines, and other related equipment to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency for production.

Requirements
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on CNC mills, EDM sinkers, waterjet, and snag grinder equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems in production equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, machine manuals, and technical drawings to diagnose issues and perform repairs
- Collaborate with production supervisors, machinists, and engineers to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance
- Assist in machine installations, relocations, and setups when needed
- Ensure compliance with all safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and company policies
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or performance issues
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts, including root cause analysis and equipment upgrades
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance, with emphasis on CNC and EDM machinery
- Strong knowledge of Fanuc, Siemans, Haas, Sodick, or Mitsubishi CNC controls
- Experience with sinker EDM equipment (e.g., Sodick)
- Able to diagnose and repair complex electrical, mechanical, and fluid systems
- Proficient with hand tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment
- Familiar with OSHA safety regulations and standard machine shop practices
- Technical degree or certification in industrial maintenance or a related field
- Experience working in AS9100 or ISO 9001-certified environments
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and climb ladders regularly throughout the shift
- Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as required
