We are actively seeking an experienced 2nd shift CMM Operator to join and grow in the PPG organization. The Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Operator will inspect castings, fixtures, and related tooling utilizing CMM software to measure dimensions according to work instructions.

Requirements
- Set up and operate CMM equipment to inspect parts
- Follow work instructions and select appropriate CMM program to inspect castings
- Accurately document inspection results and generate required reports
- Calibrate and maintain measuring equipment to ensure accuracy
- Identify non-conformances and communicate findings to engineering and quality
- Collaborate with quality engineers and production staff to resolve quality issues
- Maintain clean and organized work area
Knowledge, skills, and abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 or more years’ experience operating CMM equipment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T
- Experience with CMM software (PC-DMIS or Calypso)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Intermediate knowledge of PC programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Familiarity with manual inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.
- Basic understanding and knowledge of AS9100D and NADCAP standards
Compensation
- Starts at $18.00 per hour
Salary : $18 - $20
