The Tool and Die Maker will provide direct support to Tooling, Production, Wax, and Metrology by maintaining, repairing, and creating the necessary tooling to reduce and eliminate production delays.

We are actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Tool and Die Maker to join the PPG organization. The Tool and Die Maker will provide direct support to Tooling, Production, Wax, and Metrology by maintaining, repairing, and creating the necessary tooling to reduce and eliminate production delays.

- Manufacture new and repair complex tooling as needed
- Inspect finished dies and tools for defects, smoothness, and contour deformities
- Verify tooling and fixturing meet quality requirements
- Maintain organized workspace
- Other related duties as requested
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience operating 3 axis CNC milling equipment is preferred
- Extensive experience with metalworking tools including drills, milling machines, grinders, and lathes
- Ability to understand GD&T requirements
- Basic shop math
- Excellent attention to detail
- Advanced troubleshooting skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills
- Team Player
- Compensation for this role will vary based on industry specific experience
