Princeton Theological Seminary is hiring a Marketing Client Services & Project Manager to
oversee the intake, organization, and execution of marketing and communications projects.
Reporting to the Vice President for Marketing and Communications, this role is responsible for
managing project workflows, liaising with internal clients, and ensuring that marketing
operations run smoothly. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and
adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Project Intake and Client Management
• Serve as the primary point of contact for marketing project intake
and client communications. Schedule meetings as needed with
appropriate stakeholders to ensure successful project kick-off and
completion.
• Distribute intake forms to generate requests. Follow up with
clients as needed to properly catalog requests in appropriate project
management dashboards.
• Route all drafts of projects to clients for review and approval,
cataloging all requested changes and edits in project management
dashboard.
• Regularly update clients on project progress and manage client
expectations appropriately.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders and manage
expectations.
• Ensure that projects adhere to established quality standards and
guidelines.

Workflow and Task Management
• Create and manage project tasks and timelines using
monday.com. Accurately input all project specs, due dates, and other
key milestones.
• Work closely with designers, writers, and strategists to ensure
timely and accurate project completion.
• Collaborate with designers, clients, and approved Seminary
vendors to ensure brand standards are adhered to across all print,
digital, merchandise, and promotional item projects.
• Clearly communicate client edits and adjustments within project
management dashboard and via follow-up meetings as necessary.

• Track project milestones, deadlines, and deliverables, addressing
bottlenecks as needed and following up with internal colleagues
through consistent and clear communication.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate potential projects risks proactively.
• Spearhead regular workflow assessment in collaboration with
colleagues. Suggest and implement optimizations as
needed/requested.
Financial and Operational Support
• Process and track marketing invoices, ensuring budget alignment
and timely payments.
• Coordinate with marketing team to obtain and manage
documentation for monthly pcard statement reconciling.
• Support department in managing relationships with Seminary
approved vendors for promotional items and merchandise.
• Identify areas for improvement within project management
practices and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
• Collecting and analyzing project data to generate reports on key
performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
• Support strategic planning and priorities for marketing office.

OTHER FUNCTIONS: Serves as requested on committees and task forces. Recommends new
software/workflows/platforms to meet departmental and Seminary needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
CREDENTIALS REQUIRED:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
• 3 years of project management experience, preferably in a marketing or
communications setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse
teams.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software (monday.com preferred).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and problem-solve in a fast-paced
environment.
