Princeton Property Management is looking for an experienced Maintenance Tech II to join our Salem team!
We are looking for someone with property management maintenance experience, including turns, minor electrical, plumbing, grounds, pools along with team collaboration skills.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday
- 40 hours per week
Pay:
- $29 to $31 per hour, based on experience
- $25 phone reimbursement monthly

What is needed from you:
- Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including minor electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and general troubleshooting. Pool maintenance experience is preferred.
- Maintain the cleanliness and curb appeal of property exteriors, including grounds and adjacent street areas, to uphold a positive community appearance.
- Ensure common areas, including dumpster enclosures and trash receptacles, are clean, organized, and properly maintained.
- Complete apartment turnovers efficiently and to company standards, preparing units for new residents.
- Respond to and resolve resident service requests promptly, delivering excellent customer service and high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at each assigned property, following all safety protocols and company policies.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and proactively identify potential issues to minimize future repairs.
- Communicate effectively with property managers and team members regarding work orders, property needs, and supply requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally more with assistance.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach overhead for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
- Must be able to safely operate maintenance tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces as needed.
- Ability to travel between multiple properties throughout the day; valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to perform detailed maintenance and repair tasks.
