Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the front desk operations of our medical facility, ensuring a welcoming environment for patients, and providing essential clerical support. This role is crucial in maintaining the efficiency of our office and delivering excellent patient care.
Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a positive first impression of the practice.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accurate data entry into the system.
- Schedule appointments for patients, coordinating with medical staff to optimize clinic flow.
- Insurance verification
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality is upheld at all times.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries or directing calls to appropriate personnel.
- Assist with clerical tasks
- Light cleaning is required
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8am to 2pm or 2pm to 8pm
- Saturdays, 11pm to 5pm
