Role Description
We are seeking an energetic, personable and passionate Boutique Wine Sales Consultant to join our team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. Candidates who thrive in a customer-facing environment and possess a working knowledge of wine — whether through retail, restaurant or hospitality experience — will receive strong consideration. All applicants must be 21 years of age or older and possess a clean, valid driver’s license.

Expectations
• Schedule flexibility, including weekends, holidays and in-store tasting events
• Greeting, directing and assisting customers with warmth and professionalism
• Communicating efficiently and effectively with customers in-person, via telephone and email
• Providing thoughtful product recommendations and wine guidance
• Facilitating purchases both in-store and online
• Maintaining attractive displays and overall shop presentation
• Keeping customers informed about current discounts, new arrivals and special offers
• Supporting daily retail operations including POS/register, opening and closing procedures
• Delivering wine to local customers with professionalism and care
Qualifications
• Experience as a retail sales representative or associate preferred
• Wine industry experience in a retail shop, restaurant or hospitality setting preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting customer relationships
• Basic knowledge of common IT platforms including Google Suite and MS Office
• Ability to safely lift and carry wine cases (up to 40 lbs)
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational, prioritization and multitasking abilities
• A genuine passion for wine, hospitality and customer service
