Who We Are
San Bruno Dental Excellence is a boutique-style dentist office led by Vishnu Shankar DDS. Dr. Vishnu Shankar is a caring, experienced dental professional who believes in being a careful listener & getting to know each patient as an individual so he can provide the best personalized dental care possible.
Dr. Shankar earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry with an award for outstanding performance in oral surgery in 1991. He is dedicated to staying at the forefront of modern dentistry, & he has taken numerous continuing education courses, including those in surgical & prosthetic (implant) dentistry, OSHA safety, full-arch implant restorations, CEREC® same-day crowns & CAD-CAM dentistry. He is also certified to provide Invisalign® clear braces.
Our office is known for implants using our state of the art YOMI machine, for a higher success-rate. We also specialize in crowns, periodontics and general dentistry.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for a dental assistant who is very organized, knowledgeable, quick and most of all, cares deeply about patient care and professionalism. Must speak English and Mandarin Chinese / Cantonese . This is a full-time position , must be available weekdays and weekends including Sundays and evenings until 7pm .
Responsibilities
Patient Care :
Greeting and seating patients, Taking medical and dental histories, Preparing patients for procedures, Assisting the dentist during dental examinations and treatments, and Providing post-operative instructions and care. Educating patients on oral hygiene practices.
Clinical Tasks :
Setting up and sterilizing dental instruments, Preparing materials and supplies for procedures, Taking and developing dental X-rays, Taking impressions of teeth for models, and Polishing teeth and applying fluoride. Adhering to infection control protocols
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
