We train individuals to provide emergency medical services, fight fires, perform rescues and promote fire safety and prevention. PWC FRS is a growing organization of over 800 uniformed and civilian employees that offers tremendous learning and promotion opportunities. The FRS has a deployment model that includes Paramedic Engines, 24 hour shifts and a 56 hour work week. Work station and duty assignment will be determined by the county.

Signing Bonus
- This position qualifies for a hiring bonus of $10,000, payable in 2 equal installments as funding permits.
- Applicants with a Virginia EMT-P or National Registry EMT-P may be eligible to receive a one-time $3,000 signing bonus payable after successful completion of the probationary period.
- 1.5% - Associates Degree
- 3% - Bachelors Degree
- 4.5% - Masters Degree
- 6% - Doctorate Degree
