What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pre-Clinical/Clinical Nursing Instructor - 200 Day position at Prince William County Public Schools?
This position plans and implements an instructional program and provides related educational services for students. This position manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, and modifies instructional activities, as required, and carries out a variety of student monitoring and control activities. This position requires the knowledge of the principles and techniques of nursing care and must be skilled in the performance of nursing procedures and knowledge. This position usually performs duties within a team or departmental setting but at times work independently in a unique teaching specialty. This position may be assigned to clinical affiliating agencies where greater than average monitoring is required to diminish the chance of accidental injury to students. This position requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and a current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license or multi-state licensure with privilege to practice in Virginia. This position performs work under the general supervision from the coordinator of the Practical Nursing program.
