An essential function of this position is the ability to work in person and physically report for work on site.

Candidates for this position must be Highly Qualified through one of the following:
- Have obtained an Associate's degree, or higher from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
- Completed a minimum of 48 college credits from a nationally or regionally accredited institution of higher education, documented through transcripts; OR
- Passed the ParaPro assessment with a minimum score of 455. Documentation of test score must be submitted.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is paraprofessional work which requires the teacher assistant to assist the classroom teacher in performing a variety of tasks and carrying out instructional procedures as directed by the classroom teacher. This position performs work under the direct supervision of the teacher and building administrator.
