This position manages student behavior, assesses and evaluates student achievement, modifies instructional activities as required, and carries out a variety of student monitoring and control activities in both Spanish and English. This position, covered by this specification, serves as a general education, bilingual elementary classroom teacher (K-5); classes taught may be single or team or departmental setting, but a teacher might work independently in a unique teaching specialty. This position may be assigned to reading or technology labs. This position performs work under the general supervision of a principal and/or a different designated administrator.
