JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing direct support for the Child Find process, conducting screenings and observations, and facilitating Child Find/eligibility meetings. The position is responsible for ensuring state and local timelines are met regarding the identification process for children suspected of having a disability, and ensuring the proper identification of the suspected area of disability. The coordinator will assist in compiling and analyzing data regarding the number of students referred and going through the Child Find process, to include outcomes related to the eligibility process.
