What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping /Janitor Custodian position at Prince Sterilization Services?
We are seeking a Housekeeping /Janitor Custodian to join our team! You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment throughout three facilities local to the Fairfield/Pine Brook NJ area.
This is a Full-Time Position with benefits
- Shift: Monday-Friday; 10:00am-6:00pm
- All applicants must agree to a background check
- All Applicants much be Authorized to work in USA.
- Must have reliable transportation to meet scheduled hours.
- Must be able to commute to multiple buildings on Campus. (min. 3 locations within close driving range)
Responsibilities
- Keep buildings in clean and orderly condition.
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning bathrooms, replacing paper products, etc. (Includes: (General building areas and warehouse space)
- Perform routine maintenance tasks
- Organize custodial closets and spaces
- Maintain working condition of cleaning equipment
- Ability to lift at least 50-60 pounds (Daily task)
- Must be able to tolerate occasional exposure to high temperatures and high humidity.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or other related fields
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
Prince Sterilization Services, LLC is a contract steam and dry heat sterilization services provider serving the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries. The Janitor/Custodian is responsible for keeping the facilities in order.
