The Material Handler operates forklifts and other material handling equipment while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Requirements
What You'll Do:
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
- Transport raw materials, work-in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout the facility.
- Supply production departments with materials as needed to maintain efficient workflow.
- Remove completed products from production areas and stage them for shipping or storage.
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products using forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Verify material quantities and product identification to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Conduct routine inventory checks and assist with cycle counts as required.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for damage and report discrepancies to management.
- Maintain accurate records of material movements and inventory transactions.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance concerns.
- Ensure materials are stored properly and inventory locations remain organized.
- Assist with loading shipments and preparing products for shipment as needed.
- Maintain clean work areas and follow established housekeeping standards.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
- Communicate material shortages, inventory discrepancies, and operational concerns to supervisors.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.
- Other duties as assigned by Management
- Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, or material handling operations preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification required.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control practices preferred.
- Ability to safely operate material handling equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to follow all safety regulations and company policies.
- Basic math skills and the ability to accurately count inventory.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- May occasionally be required to lift, carry, push, or pull items weighing in excess of 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
