Job Summary
The Warranty Administrator plays a crucial role in managing warranty claims and ensuring compliance with company policies and manufacturer guidelines. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can efficiently process warranty claims, maintain accurate records, and provide exceptional customer service to clients. The Warranty Administrator will work closely with various departments to resolve issues related to warranty coverage and facilitate the smooth operation of warranty processes. This position will also handle fleet accounts and loaner vehicles, and collecting money from customers.
Duties
- Review and process warranty claims submitted by customers and service departments.
- Verify warranty coverage and eligibility based on company policies and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain detailed records of all warranty claims, including documentation of repairs, parts used, and labor hours.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding the status of their claims, providing updates and resolving any inquiries.
- Collaborate with service technicians to gather necessary information for claim processing.
- Ensure timely submission of claims to manufacturers for reimbursement.
- Monitor warranty claim trends and report findings to management for further analysis.
- Assist in training staff on warranty procedures and best practices.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warranty administration role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Proficiency in using computer systems and software for record keeping and claim processing.
- Attention to detail is essential for accurately reviewing claims and maintaining documentation.
