Press Operator – Metal Stamping
Position Summary:
Prince Metal Stampings is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Press Operator to operate mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses producing automotive components. This role is responsible for ensuring parts meet quality standards while maintaining a safe, efficient, and organized production process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Set up and operate metal stamping presses according to work instructions and safety requirements

Load and unload raw materials and finished parts

Monitor press operations and continuously check for misfeeds, double hits, and other abnormal conditions

Stop the press and notify supervision or maintenance when issues are identified

Inspect parts for quality, dimensions, and defects using gauges and visual checks

Perform basic troubleshooting and make minor adjustments as permitted

Maintain 5S standards in the work area to support safety, efficiency, and quality

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times

Follow all company policies, OSHA regulations, and safety procedures

Meet production, quality, and efficiency goals
Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Previous press operator or manufacturing experience REQUIRED (automotive a plus)

Ability to read work instructions and use basic measuring tools

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety

Ability to stand for extended periods
Work Environment:
Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and metal components. Proper PPE is required.
