Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant food service team. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage reservations using OpenTable or similar systems
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests and dietary needs are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS with precision
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all service areas, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring overall satisfaction
- Assist in food handling, preparation, and kitchen support as needed during busy periods or special events
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper sanitation, food handling, and storage practices
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service flow during high-volume shifts
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining or nightclub settings
- Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Skilled in upselling menu items to maximize sales opportunities
- Experience with OpenTable reservation management is a plus
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order accuracy
- Culinary or kitchen experience is advantageous but not required
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
