Location: 7414 Riverdale Road, New Carrollton, MD 20784

Schedule: 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri; Evening and on-call hours, as needed.
Essential Functions:
-
Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, and building automation systems

Coordinate cleaning and upkeep of air conditioning and filtration units
-
Complete general building maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement and snow removal

Respond to on-call and emergency maintenance needs to ensure continuous and safe operations

Assist with furniture moves and setup for renovation or reconfiguration projects
-
Order parts, track deliveries, and follow up with vendors to support timely repairs
-
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and system performance
-
Support safety inspections and comply with all safety procedures and guidelines

Assist with basic maintenance of company vehicles as needed

Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
High school diploma or GED required; vocational or technical training preferred

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in commercial building maintenance
-
Universal CFC/EPA certification preferred

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and maintenance procedures

Experience with computerized building automation systems
-
Ability to safely operate machinery, tools, and maintenance equipment

Strong organizational, problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, email, and internet applications
Work Environment & Physical Demands

The position is active and mobile (about 60% of the time), including driving in varying conditions
-
Frequent standing, bending, climbing ladders, and lifting/pushing up to 100 lbs

Regular exposure to indoor/outdoor environments and maintenance-related chemicals
