Position Summary
The Advising Mentor provides part-time, on-site support to new teachers throughout the school year. This role is ideal for former educators who bring strong instruction and classroom experience. The Advising Mentor will assist new staff with classroom management, acclimating school procedures and expectations, and developing effective instructional routines. The schedule will be determined collaboratively by the school administration and the mentor.

Performance of the position will be evaluated annually in accordance with the provisions of the Prince Edward County School Board’s policy on evaluation of professional personnel.
