Job Description:

We are seeking a Mainframe Batch Support Analyst with strong experience in Mainframe Batch Processing to join a leading healthcare enterprise. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in mainframe technologies, production support, batch scheduling, and troubleshooting complex batch job issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, support, and maintain mainframe batch processing environments.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve batch job failures and performance issues.
• Develop, modify, and support JCL and COBOL programs as needed.
• Manage batch schedules, job dependencies, and data processing workflows.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures for recurring issues.
• Collaborate with onshore and offshore teams to ensure smooth production operations.
• Support incident management, problem management, and production releases.
• Optimize batch processing performance and improve operational efficiency.

• Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies, particularly Batch Processing.
• Proficiency in JCL, COBOL, and related mainframe tools and environments.
• Experience supporting production environments and handling batch schedules.
• Strong understanding of job dependencies, data processing, and batch performance optimization.
• Ability to independently analyze and resolve production issues with minimal supervision.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience with CICS.
• Exposure to healthcare industry environments is a plus.
