PVD Coating Leader

We are seeking a hands-on Production/Maintenance Leader to oversee our PVD coating operations. This role reports directly to the General Manager and is responsible for managing daily production, maintaining equipment, training operators and drivers, and ensuring product quality meets customer requirements.

The ideal candidate is a natural leader with strong organizational skills, technical expertise, and the ability to motivate a team while driving continuous improvement. This position requires close collaboration with engineering, quality, sales, and operations to achieve company goals.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead day-to-day PVD coating production, scheduling, and planning.

· Train and guide production operators, maintenance staff, and drivers.

· Ensure equipment is properly maintained and production areas are clean and organized.

· Monitor processes to meet quality standards and customer requirements.

· Implement efficiency and quality improvements using lean manufacturing principles.

· Provide feedback, performance evaluations, and regular updates to management.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.

· 5 years in production leadership, ideally in PVD coatings.

· Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

· Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.

· Excellent communication skills.
