Master Planner/Scheduler

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Master Planner/Scheduler to join our team in our Maryland facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring the flow of products through the complete production cycle. The Master Planner/Scheduler will provide timely planning and scheduling of manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

Responsibilities

• Review open sales orders to determine customer requirements.
• Coordinate delivery of parts to expedite flow of material to meet production schedule.
• Support purchasing of expedite suppliers purchase orders if required.
• Utilize ERP system to auto-generate manufacturing work orders.
• Release manufacturing work orders.
• Coordinate with production team to ensure timely completion of work orders.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed.
• Communicate with internal teams and external customers regarding production schedules and delivery dates.
• Identify and resolve production issues to ensure on-time delivery.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3 years of experience in production planning and scheduling.
• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
• Intermidiate MS Excel skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Production and Processing – Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
