What You’ll Do
- Receive incoming shipments, inspecting parts and verifying them against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Enter received items into our ERP system, with accurate part numbers, lot or batch data, and quantities.
- Package, label, and prepare outgoing shipments to meet customer requirements and internal quality standards.
- Create and manage shipping documentation (packing lists, bills of lading, export paperwork as needed) within ERP.
- Coordinate pick-ups with freight carriers.
- Maintain organized inventory locations (raw material, WIP, finished goods), and support cycle counting and reconciliation through ERP.
- Ensure lot / batch traceability: maintain records per aerospace quality standards.
- Support internal and external audits by maintaining accurate documentation.
- Operate forklift or pallet jack (training/certification provided or required).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives (6S, Lean, safety), identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse workspace.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- ERP experience required
- At least 1 year of warehouse, receiving/shipping, or material-handling experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with ERP / inventory system.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and maneuver in a warehouse environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing.
- Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO quality standards.
- Knowledge of lot / batch traceability.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Forklift experience
