About the role:
A Preschool Director role is a critical role who helps drive the daily operations of school along with keeping a positive attitude and a friendly demeanor. Here are your responsibilities that excite you:
- Staff management: Hire, train, and supervise teachers and other staff. Inspire teachers to do their best work.
- Curriculum: Help teachers implement our curriculum with the help of the Education Coach.
- Facilities: Ensure the facility is clean and maintained in compliance with state regulations.
- Budget: Prepare and manage the budget, including collecting fees
- Follow-up- the leads to ensure enrollments.
- Communication: Communicate with parents, teachers, and staff, and facilitate parent-teacher conferences
- Policies: Establish and communicate Primrose policies and procedures.
- Professional development: Provide opportunities for staff professional development
- Customer service: Greet parents and visitors, answer questions, and lead tours
- Records: Maintain records for children, staff, and licensing
- Recruitment: Lead recruitment efforts and make hiring recommendations.
What will you need?
A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a related field, or equivalent classroom/teaching experience.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education.
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, and children.
Experience working with students or young children is essential
