Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate lessons focused on literacy, math, social skills, and motor development.
• Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and implementing behavior management strategies.
• Provide attentive supervision and care for children, including toddlers and preschoolers, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Help create an inclusive environment by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, including those with autism.
• Engage children in play-based learning activities that promote curiosity, creativity, and social interaction.
• Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining a clean environment.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a collaborative educational atmosphere.

Experience

• Prior experience working with young children in daycare, preschool, or early childhood education settings is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early learning standards is highly desirable.
• Experience with curriculum development or lesson planning tailored to preschool-aged children enhances your effectiveness.
• Familiarity with special education practices or working with individuals with autism or disabilities is a plus.
• Demonstrated classroom management skills and the ability to work well within a team are essential.
• Previous private school or Montessori preschool experience will be considered an advantage.
