Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services. We offer these services to our clients within the refining, gas processing, chemical/petrochemical, hydrogen, power generation, mining, pulp and paper industries from the first groundbreaking activity all the way through commissioning and start-up of the project. Primoris forms a partnership with our customers and major stakeholders from early-stage engineering through construction completion and commercial operation, safely, on-time, and within budget.

Job Responsibilities**
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.
- Source new vendors and suppliers, and maintain a database of approved vendors.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers for standard materials and services under supervision.
- Track and expedite orders to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delivery discrepancies.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and specifications.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
- Assist in conducting market research to identify new products, services, and potential cost savings.
- Collaborate with accounts payable to resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Participate in inventory management activities as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 0-2 years of experience in procurement or a related supply chain role.
- Basic understanding of procurement principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new processes and technologies.
- Valid driver's license may be required.
