Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of QHSE programs, policies, and procedures in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation for safety incidents, near misses, and environmental deviations.
- Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees, ensuring understanding and compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date QHSE documentation, including permits, records, reports, and incident logs.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to promote a proactive safety culture and ensure QHSE considerations are integrated into all aspects of operations.
- Monitor environmental performance, including waste management, spill prevention, and air quality, and assist in reporting as required.
- Participate in emergency response planning and drills.
- Support the continuous improvement of QHSE performance through data analysis, trend identification, and best practice implementation.
- Act as a resource for employees and management on QHSE-related matters.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- 5 years of progressive experience in QHSE roles within the energy services, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local QHSE regulations.
- Proven experience in conducting safety audits, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to effectively train and influence various levels of employees.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Relevant certifications such as CSP, CHST, OSHA 30-hour, or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
