CNC MACINISTS - FIRST SHIFT
We are seeking CNC MACHINISTS - FIRST SHIFT to join our TEAM! We are a leader in the development of medical devices and precision machine components. Responsibilities: CNC Machinists are responsible for the set-up and operation of CNC Lathes to perform machining operations such as turning, boring, facing, and threading and CNC Mills to perform machining operations such as contours, pockets, slots and 3D profiles in parts such as castings, forgings, and bar stock.
Read process sheets, blueprints and sketches of parts to determine scope of machining to be done, dimensional specifications, set up and operating requirements.
Ensure all components produced meet specifications by using appropriate measuring equipment, such as Micrometers, Vernier, Height Gauges, Bore Gauges, Comparators and Vision Systems.
Requirements: CNC MACHINISTS must have technical schooling or 5 years (minimum)
related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. We are searching for EXPERIENCED CANDIDATES as well as WILL TRAIN AN OTHERWISE QUALIFIED MACHINE OPERATOR!
Must possess the ability to read and interpret a variety of documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
Must possess the ability to work with basic mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.
Must possess attention to detail and have the ability to make decisions and problem solve using sound judgement and critical thinking processes.
