What are the responsibilities and job description for the Subway Shift Supervisor position at Primm Valley Casino Resorts?
SUMMARY:
Responsible for supervision and training of QSR Outlets Subway and Taco Express. Certified in all Subway sandwich preparations as well as Taco Express tasks including cashiering and product prep for current shift and next shift.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide excellent customer service in the QSR outlets, Subway and Taco Express.
- Supervise and train all Subway and Taco Express staff.
- Make all menu items required by Subway and Taco Express.
- Enter all transactions into register, accepts payment for all funds.
- Keep all register receipts organized and all refunds and voids documented correctly and signed by manager only.
- Perform all duties in an environment which is extremely fast paced.
- Performs daily store cleaning, stocking, and merchandising as instructed.
- Enforces company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ensures the general cleanliness of the outlets.
- Performs other duties as may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Direct supervision of all Subway and Taco Express staff. Training is provided to learn how to become a certified Sandwich Artist (Sandwich Maker/Cashier).
QUALIFICATIONS

- Be able to provide proof of authorization/eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Excellent interpersonal skill with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm in high paced and stressful environment.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Must have the ability to stand, bend, twist and kneel unassisted in close working environment for long periods of time while being exposed to hot and cold surfaces.
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds without restrictions.
- Ability to understand and operate registers using American monies.
- Must maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance.
- Must be able to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Must have Subway Quick Service Restaurant experience
- Subway WISR experience
- Experience in scheduling
- Food ordering experience
- PARS knowledge
- Day dotting and FIFO procedures
- Food cleanliness standards knowledge
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Must have one (1) to three (3) years related experience and/or training.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must obtain a Health Card.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
- Bi-lingual a plus.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience and basic computer skills.
