Our team is a diverse and impacted-oriented mix of creatives, foodies, makers, and engineers, who are energized by complex challenges.We’re looking for someone who is a reliable and experienced driver to join the team as an Operations & Logistics Staff to drive and deliver fresh seafood products to wholesalers, restaurants, and customers for our new food brand. Deliveries will take place throughout San Francisco and East Bay. This is a part-time / contract position, for 2 days per week on a consistent basis - with opportunities for additional work.Qualifications:Valid Driver's License and a Clean Driving RecordYou own and operate your own vehicle, with air conditioningExperienced with handling seafood, meat, and/or other perishable food products in a safe and sanitary mannerAbility to regularly lift up to 60 Ibs (this is an active, physical job).Able to time manage for on-time deliveriesbonus: experience with customer interactionsAs contract Operations & Logistics Staff, you will be responsible for:Planning and optimizing delivery routes to maximize efficiencyLoad, transport, and deliver seafood products to customer locationsMaintain accurate records of client sales orders, receipts, invoices, and accounts information.Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety standards during transitEnsure timely and accurate fulfillment and delivery of ordersProvide input on improving operational efficiency and customer satisfactionReport on customer inquiries, issues, and customer product recommendationsSupport team with production or operations tasks as neededSourcing new restaurant and wholesale customers, building and maintaining strong client relationships, when applicable To apply, submit your resume and tell us why you are are interested and a good fit for the job.
