PrimeTime Sports Sales & Event Operations Spring Internship
PrimeTime Sports is a youth basketball event management company based in Dallas, TX. We host more than 100 youth basketball events per year in multiple states. We also provide event management services to other organizations such as Jr. NBA, Dallas Mavericks Youth Program, U.S. Open Basketball Championship, and more! Annually in July, PrimeTime Sports hosts the largest single venue National Championship for youth basketball with over 800 teams from throughout the country participating.
This is a Full-Time internship position, our office is located in Plano, TX. The Internship would be from January - August.
The intern will:

This is a Full-Time internship position, our office is located in Plano, TX. The Internship would be from January - August.
The intern will:
- Manage and assist teams for upcoming tournaments, including National Basketball Championship and other various events
- Provide assistance within the marketing department
- Collaborating with PrimeTime Directors to determine operational needs and focuses for each event
- Assists in the day-to-day business operations and related activities of the market
- Assist with selling, organizing, and running events in all product lines
- Communicate directly with customers
- Gain on-site experience in event management
- Assist with market research
The ideal candidate would have some experience or aptitude in the following areas:
- Major in Sport Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Desire to be an industry leader in sports management
- Passion for Basketball
- Ability to work in an extremely demanding, fast-paced environment
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter, able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Willing to work extended hours including some nights and weekends for specific event
