PrimeTime Center is a DDD approved program that provides day services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Our corporate office is located in Jackson, NJ and we currently operate day programs in Middlesex, Monmouth and Ocean Counties.
Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a Program Supervisor for our Day Program in Brick. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Program Supervisor is responsible for the development, scheduling, and implementation of a wide array of program activities designed to meet the needs of participants. This position will oversee the administration, development, implementation, and overall management of the program. This includes managing program staff, implementing program goals and policies, fostering relationships with participants and families, creating and maintaining reports and records of individuals served, and maintaining a positive, healthy and stimulating environment for participants at all times.
Duties:
- Serves as an advocate for all PrimeTime Center participants, promoting effective relations with participants, caregivers, support coordinators and the local community.
- Supervises daily program operations, providing direction and management to ensure the program is operating efficiently within the guidelines of the Division of Developmental Disabilities.
- Oversees building maintenance and maintains an appropriate program environment including general cleanliness and safe conditions.
- Maintains maintenance schedule for all program vehicles.
- Develops weekly schedule and daily lessons/activities for clients.
- Obtains participant input for activity development.
- Directs and supervises staff; assigns staff responsibilities and monitors staff performance.
- Conducts and documents staff meetings and bi-monthly staff professional development days, providing technical support and direct training for staff.
- Monitors staff time sheets for bi-monthly payroll.
- Oversees interviewing, hiring and performance monitoring of all new hires.
- Administers program and personnel policies and procedures.
- Completes all documentation, evaluations and UIR reports in a timely manner.
- Conducts intakes with families and provides information about adult day programs; provides site tours and supervises all program try-outs.
- Participates in development of a service plan for each participant (ISP meetings).
- Develops/Implements strategies with input from participants and caregivers linked directly to plan outcomes.
- Monitors service delivery and outcome measurements for all participant goals and strategies through utilization of Day Habilitation Activity Logs and Annual Reviews.
- Maximizes client functioning in self-care, physical and emotional growth, socialization, communication, recreation, and community-based skills.
- Participates in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to address specific participant concerns.
- Oversees all medication administration and documentation.
- Participates in program self-assessments, internal audits, surveys and developing action plans.
- In conjunction with the Program Director, participates in development of long- and short-term goals for adult programming, evaluates programs to determine efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for the oversight of all electronic medical records.
- Regularly updates PTC webpage and Facebook page.
- Performs any other functions that are deemed necessary at the discretion of the PTC Director.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one-year supervisory experience, plus three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities; experience in Day Habilitation Program is a plus. Demonstration of a thorough understanding of knowledge, abilities and skills outlined above. Must be adaptable and have a good sense of humor. Demonstrated ability to thrive and perform in a diverse, fast paced and demanding environment. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Services, Behavior Studies or related field preferred. Must be 25 years of age or older. Required a valid New Jersey driver’s license, clean abstract and ability to meet agency insurability requirements. Complete State/Federal Criminal Background checks, Central Registry checks, Child Abuse Record inquiry.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
