PrimeTest Automation, a nearly 20 year-old multi-million dollar systems integrator, based out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida is growing and looking for a Junior Mechanical Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and has had exposure to machine automation projects. This Engineering opportunity will allow the right candidate to work on varied projects touching areas such as aerospace, medical, packaging, military, automotive, advanced research, and much more.

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of Relevant Mechanical Engineering experience in Automation/Machine Building.
- Engineering Degree in a related field.
- Strong Interest in Automated machine-building
- High degree of proficiency in 3D modeling with SolidWorks.
- Exposure to standard engineering materials and processes (6061 aluminum, 316 stainless, cold rolled steel, anodizing, plating, grinding, welding, etc.)
- Effective written and oral communication skills to work with management, customers, and vendors is required.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Design automation machinery using SolidWorks 3D CAD
- Analyze and verify existing 3D models in SolidWorks
- Generate print packages for part production
- Manage the fabrication of machined parts with vendors and in-house machine shop
- Develop design review presentations by annotating renderings from SolidWorks
- Comprehend and document automation process including machine sequence and work instructions.
