We are looking to hire an Accountant at our Axis, Alabama facility. This position will report to the Accounting Manager.

We are looking to hire an Accountant at our Axis, Alabama facility. This position will report to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities:
- New job setup in SAP and job folder setup
- Assisting with Accounts Payable in SAP
- Administer contract billing in SAP
- Assist in the month-end close process
- Assist the Accounting Manager in creating timely and accurate financial statements
- Understand job costing reports from SAP
- UKG(Kronos) Bi-Weekly Hourly Timesheet Review
- Other administrative and accounting projects, as needed.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent combination of experience and education
- Familiar with Accounting processes, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Up to 2 years of financial experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work on many different projects at one time.
- Excellent Microsoft Office experience
- SAP, preferred
