Our client is a growing US heavy-haul carrier specializing in flatbed, step-deck, and RGN transportation across all 48 states and Alaska.
As the fleet continues to expand, we're looking for a Driver Recruiter to help attract, hire, and onboard qualified CDL-A drivers and Owner Operators. You'll work closely with the Director of Recruiting, Fleet Manager, and Safety team to keep the hiring pipeline moving.
đź“‹ What you'll own:
- Source CDL-A Drivers and Owner Operators through job boards, referrals, and driver communities.
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews.
- Perform initial candidate screening (experience, MVR history, basic qualifications) before handing candidates over to the Safety team.
- Manage the recruiting pipeline from first contact through onboarding.
- Coordinate orientation schedules for new drivers.
- Build relationships with driving schools, trucking associations, and referral partners.
- Track and report weekly recruiting metrics.
âś… What we need from you:
- Previous recruiting experience (driver recruiting or staffing experience is a strong advantage).
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Fluent Spanish is a strong plus.
- Comfortable handling a high volume of calls and interviews.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple openings simultaneously.
- Experience in the trucking industry is a bonus but not required.
