Your impact (at a glance)

• Lay out and install copper and steel tubing with precision for refrigeration assemblies.
• Perform high-quality copper-to-copper brazing using a torch; follow brazing best practices.
• Operate a copper saw and tube bender to spec; form accurate flares.
• Assemble suction and discharge piping; verify integrity via pressurization and leak checks.
• Use trade tools daily: tube cutters, hand vise, power benders, files, flaring/swedging tools, and torch.
• Support unit layout and setup; complete additional duties as assigned.

What you bring

• High school diploma or GED; or 3–6 months of relevant hands-on experience/training; or an equivalent blend.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Proficiency with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals; working knowledge of basic algebra and geometry.
• Resourceful problem-solving in environments with limited standardization; able to follow written, verbal, diagram, or schedule-based instructions.
