We are seeking an individual that is smart, hard working and has the ability to inspect inside pipe. General DescriptionQC Inspector shall be responsible for dimensional verification of pipes per WCSPContract Documents, Specifications/Standards, as well as Receiving Inspection,Material Test Report Verification, Forming and welding compliance, end configuration inconformance with Contract Documents, Destructive and Non-Destructive Testing, andverifying Mechanical Testing. Responsibilities: Inspect Pipe per PO, Specifications, Standards, Codes, and contract documents. Point of contact for 3rd party inspection agencies. Enforce any special requirements per Work Order. Read and interpret design drawings and contract documents. Ensure drawing details are being followed, End configurations, Lengths, size and bodytolerances. Measurement Verification. Preventable actions for Non-conforming items. Maintain accurate and complete QC records, including inspection reports, mechanicaltest results and NDT records. Verify calibration status of inspection equipment Minimum Educational Qualifications: Must be familiar with a variety of welding process. Welding groove configurations. Non-Destructive Testing experience, Visual Testing, Liquid penetrant testing. High School Diploma, with advance testing in welding inspection. Minimum Previous Experience: Welding background Non-Destructive testing, Destructive testing. Fit-up Design layout for pipe and welding configurations Inspection tools and measuring experience. Computer literate Minimum Additional Training: ISO 9001-2015 Quality Management Systems Safety training requirements, per West Coast Spiral Pipe Non-Destructive testing training and certification, per ASNT TC-1A On the job training in NDT-VT, PT hours Specific measurements per WCSP Contract Documents. Learn all aspects of different welding processes. Mechanical Testing, per applicable Codes Minimum Skill Level: Skill Level IIOther Skills: Organizational skills, data input for different inspection reports, knowledge ofmeasuring devices, OD tapes, thickness gauges. Apply In Person (No Online Application offered):PrimeStaff HR17250 Foothill BlvdFontana, CA 92335Application Hours:Monday – Thursday8:30 AM – 11:00 AM & 1:30 PM – 3:00 PMCall Us Today:(909) 333-1028“Connecting talent to opportunity.
