What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pipe Quality Control position at Primestaff HR?
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our piping team. This role is responsible for ensuring all piping systems, materials, and installations meet company standards, client specifications, and industry codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect piping systems, welds, and materials to ensure compliance with project specifications
- Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents
- Conduct visual inspections and coordinate testing (pressure tests, leak tests, etc.)
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
- Identify defects or non-conformance issues and recommend corrective actions
- Work closely with project managers, welders, and field crews to ensure quality standards are met
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in quality control
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
