We are hiring a Senior Paid Media Lead to take ownership of key client accounts at Primer.
This is a high-impact role for someone who can think strategically, execute at a high level, and communicate with clients with clarity and confidence.
You will be expected to operate as both:
- A hands-on performance marketer
- A trusted advisor to clients
The Role
You will own performance and communication across a portfolio of accounts.
This includes:
- Running and optimizing campaigns across Meta, Google, and other channels
- Leading client communication, including calls and strategic discussions
- Translating performance data into clear insights and actions
- Driving accountability internally and externally
This is not a “manage and report” role. You are expected to lead accounts and own outcomes.
What You Will Do
1) Own Client Performance
- Manage campaigns directly, hands-on keyboard
- Allocate budget, test, and optimize across channels
- Identify and scale winning strategies quickly
2) Lead Client Communication
- Run client calls with confidence and clarity
- Answer questions directly and thoughtfully, without deferring
- Present performance, insights, and next steps in a structured way
- You should be able to control the narrative in any client conversation
3) Translate Data into Insight
- Go beyond reporting to explain:
- What is working
- What is not
- What we are doing next
- Provide clear, actionable recommendations
4) Drive Creative Direction
- Partner with creative team to define:
- Angles
- Messaging
- Testing priorities
- Use performance data to guide creative decisions
5) Raise the Standard Internally
- Set a higher bar for quality and accountability
- Identify gaps and fix them proactively
- Contribute to building better systems and processes
What We Are Looking ForExperience
- 4–8 years in paid media / performance marketing
- Strong experience across:
- Meta (required)
- Google (strongly preferred)
- Experience managing $50k–$500k monthly budgets
- Experience in a client-facing agency role
