PrimeHealth Denver is a leading Functional Medicine clinic providing whole-body, root-cause care. Our team, led by a board-certified medical doctor, includes healthcare professionals, health coaches, and administrative staff, all dedicated to personalized, science-based care that changes lives.
As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting our clinicians, staff, and patients, ensuring our medical operations run seamlessly, and creating an exceptional patient experience from the first touchpoint to ongoing care.
You’ll collaborate closely with our providers, admin team, and patients to ensure clinical tasks and patient messages are completed accurately, efficiently, and with the high level of care PrimeHealth is known for. This role combines clinical skills, organization, service, and communication, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a hybrid environment, enjoys meaningful patient interactions, and operates with ownership and integrity.
- Triage and respond to inbound patient messages in our patient portal
- Manage Rx requests, LOMNs, Superbills, and other clinical documentation
- Oversee incoming faxes and ensure timely routing and completion
- Ensure patient intake forms are completed in a timely manner
- Update referrals and affiliate documents
- Support providers with chart prep, lab follow-up, and care coordination
- Complete patient superbills, disability requests, and letters of medical necessity
- Contribute to process improvements and help maintain a streamlined, efficient clinic
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
- Exceptional customer service and communication (verbal written)
- Strong organizational skills and ability to follow through consistently
- High attention to detail and accuracy in all documentation
- Tech confidence and experience using EMRs
- Self-starter who takes initiative and operates with ownership

- Experience in functional or integrative medicine
- Familiarity with Cerbo or similar EMR platforms
- Understanding of Rx requests, prior authorizations, patient messaging
- Interest in root-cause medicine and holistic wellness
- $21–24/hour, depending on experience
