Job Summary: Manage substantial amounts of outbound and inbound calls in a timely manner. Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics. Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide solutions and/or alternatives
Essential Functions:
Primary duties
• Make outbound calls to new patients, patients assigned to new programs and preventative care visits
• Answers incoming medical office calls to schedule appointments, create professional written commutations and direct to appropriate parties
• Responds promptly to changes in workload and adjusts to new or different work assignments, as necessary
• Develops and maintains necessary confidential records and files
• Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
• Good Proficiency and navigation PC application included by not limited to MicroSoft suite of products and EMR scheduling systems
• Ability to multitask while actively listening
• Excellent verbal, written and keyboarding skills
• Good telephone manner with a clear speaking voice
• Effective communication skills and the ability to build rapport with the patients and outside professionals
• Ability to work well within a team atmosphere
Qualifications:Required Education/Experience:
• High school diploma
• 1 years customer service
Preferred Education/ Experience:
• 1 of medical work experience
• 3 years of general call center experience
• Medical terminology knowledge a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish
