Reports To: Site Supervisor/Project Lead Employment Type: Full-timeJob Summary The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in industrial and facility environments. This role involves routine cleaning duties as well as support for special projects such as deep cleaning, dust control, and floor maintenance. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work in physically demanding conditions while following all safety protocols.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily cleaning of restrooms, break areas, offices, and common spacesEmpty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properlySweep, mop, and power wash floors in designated areasDust surfaces including ledges, vents, equipment, and overhead structuresRefill supplies such as paper products, soap, and sanitizersClean windows, walls, doors, and other surfaces as neededReport any maintenance needs, safety hazards, or supply shortagesAssist with deep cleaning and special project work when requiredFollow all company and site-specific safety proceduresSupport additional cleaning tasks assigned by supervisorsPreferred Qualifications:Previous janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning experience in an industrial or commercial settingBasic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipmentAbility to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a teamRequirements Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit testPhysically able to lift, push, or pull over 50 lbsAble to perform tasks requiring reaching, bending, climbing, and standing for extended periodsMust wear and work in full personal protective equipment (PPE), including hard hat, safety glasses, earplugs, and steel toe boots.Must pass all pre-employment screenings, including verification, background check, drug test, medical evaluation, and fit test
