Equipment Operator / Laborer – Process Equipment

Position Summary

PrimeCrew Solutions is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Equipment Operator / Laborer – Process Equipment to join our team. This position is responsible for safely operating industrial equipment and supporting the operation of process equipment while performing general labor duties as needed. The ideal candidate has experience operating heavy or industrial equipment, is mechanically inclined, and is committed to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Essential Job Duties

• Safely operate industrial equipment, including front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, or other heavy equipment as assigned.
• Operate, monitor, and assist with process equipment to ensure efficient production and material flow.
• Load, unload, transport, and move materials throughout the facility.
• Perform daily pre-operational and post-operational inspections of equipment.
• Report equipment malfunctions, safety concerns, or maintenance needs promptly.
• Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and work areas.
• Assist with general labor duties, including shoveling, sweeping, lifting, and housekeeping.
• Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and site-specific procedures.
• Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating heavy equipment or industrial equipment required.
• Experience operating front-end loaders, skid steers, forklifts, or similar equipment preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing, recycling, waste management, construction, or other industrial environments is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to identify and report equipment issues.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Work Environment

• Industrial work environment with exposure to dust, noise, heat, cold, and moving machinery.
• Frequent standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times.
