Job DescriptionThe Contracted Engineer oversees the safe and efficient operation of fuel processing systems, boilers, turbines, and other steam-plant equipment. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, environmental requirements, and operational procedures while supporting plant reliability and performance.DutiesMonitor and operate fuel systems, boilers, turbines, and related equipment.Ensure full compliance with safety protocols and environmental permits.Approve equipment removal, issue safety permits, and manage clearance procedures.Lead and train shift personnel to maintain a skilled and safety-focused workforce.Troubleshoot operational issues and coordinate maintenance activities.Respond to emergencies and direct corrective actions.Maintain required state and site licenses and certifications.Participate in projects that improve plant efficiency and performance.
