Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- Provide preventive, restorative, and emergency dental care.
- Utilize OpenDental software for patient management and record keeping.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with Dental Assistants in providing four-handed dentistry.
- Educate patients on oral health practices and preventive care strategies.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuous education.
Requirements
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Active state dental license in good standing.
- Strong understanding of general dentistry principles and practices.
- Experience with OpenDental software is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
