We are seeking a dependable and organized Part-Time Mailroom Associate to support daily mailroom and warehouse operations. This position processes incoming and outgoing mail and packages, handles insurance claims correspondence, communicates with care coordinators, and maintains accurate supply and inventory records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, process, and distribute incoming mail and packages.
- Prepare outgoing mail and shipments, including certified mail, overnight deliveries, and bulk mailings.
- Process and route insurance claims and related correspondence accurately and promptly.
- Communicate with care coordinators to clarify routing, resolve mail-related questions, and ensure timely delivery of documents.
- Use computers, email, shipping systems, and inventory tools to track shipments, maintain records, and communicate with staff.
- Receive deliveries, verify quantities, organize supplies, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Monitor inventory levels, complete routine counts, and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Ensure outgoing packages are properly labeled and ready for carrier pickup.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers and mail-related vendors as needed.
- Maintain an organized mailroom and warehouse, monitor supplies, and provide routine care of mailroom equipment.
- Handle confidential documents and patient information according to company privacy and security procedures.
What We're Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of computers, email, Microsoft Office, and basic data entry, with the ability to learn shipping and inventory systems.
- Ability to accurately handle insurance claims documents and confidential correspondence.
- Clear, professional communication with care coordinators, coworkers, and vendors.
