Duties
- Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to understand their vehicle concerns and service needs.
- Clearly explain recommended repairs and maintenance procedures, providing detailed auto estimates and options.
- Coordinate with technicians to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services such as oil changes, brake repairs, transmissions, suspension work, tire services, alignments, shocks & struts, diesel engine repairs, air brake systems, and auto body repairs.
- Upsell additional services by identifying customer needs for vehicle diagnostics, mechanical repairs, or preventive maintenance to enhance vehicle safety and performance.
- Manage service writing tasks accurately while handling cash transactions and processing invoices efficiently.
- Maintain comprehensive records of all service activities, including repair orders, customer interactions, and parts used.
- Foster strong customer relationships through transparent communication, follow-up on completed work, and ensuring satisfaction with every visit.
Qualifications
- Proven dealership experience or automotive service management background is highly preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive diagnostics and repair procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Knowledge of automotive systems including transmissions, oil changes, auto body repair, air brake systems, alignment procedures, suspension components, tire service, shocks & struts, brake repair, diesel engines, and related mechanical systems.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Familiarity with automotive repair standards and safety protocols is a plus. Pay: $52,425.62 - $60,000.00 per year
