The Web Players team owns the Prime Video players on web browsers, embedded web views, and the Chromecast receiver app. We build everything from the player UI down to integrating with browser media APIs.
The team is passionate about building an accessible player and has enabled features such as Next Up, in-playback broadcast switching, and playback on the Amazon.com home page. For Sport enthusiasts we support live games experiences such as Thursday Night Football and UEFA Champions League, obsessing over high-quality zero interruption streams.

The ability to communicate clearly and concisely both written and orally is a key competency as is demonstrable skill as a self-starter. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location. Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
